I would love to see a more fleshed-out and less hurried version that would be given more time to find its rhythms and make better sense. Matt Morillo has created a well-written and potentially fascinating exploration into an unlikely modern urban-challenged friendship but the play—and an actor as completely watchable as Newton Mayenge—deserve far more than the bareboned and overly-crowded limitations the anyone-can-play Hollywood Fringe Festival has to offer.
