While the creative production team tried their best to create an environment suitable for the show, they were often hampered by the small, simple stage. Unfortunately, the live musicians tended to drown out the singers, a particular problem when the lyrics are essential to following the tale. Finally, the show was long (three hours with one intermission) – which in no way served to clarify the action. Overall, IF/THEN was entertaining, especially for lovers of musicals, but certainly not the finest production which the Chromolume has done. Read more…
