Volunteers needed for LADCC Awards eve – Mon 3-18-13

Los Angeles Drama Critics needs Volunteers for Monday, March 18, at the LA Theatre Center, Downtown LA.

Are you friendly? Are you fun?  Do you want to meet theater professionals?

Help your theatre community – and make new friends and contacts in the process – by volunteering at the 44th Annual Awards show of the LA Drama Critics Circle.

The awards ceremony is being held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 S. Spring St., Downtown Los Angeles.

Presenters include some of the top producers and stars working in the LA area.

The volunteer work is easy. You’ll be fed delicious food and you won’t be run ragged:

– Monday, March 18, 2013

– If you can be there during the day, you’ll run errands and help out at the talent rehearsals.
– We especially need folks from 5:30pm on to help with setup – nothing heavy – and light ushering.
– During the show (curtain at 7:30pm), we need runners to bring presenters and VIPs from the audience seating to backstage. (Quick and easy.)
– Most of the time you’ll be able to watch the show and hang out, ready to jump in as needed.

Awards chair Bob Verini (critic, Daily Variety) seeks people who are energetic with a good attitude. You can learn more, or sign on, by e-mailing Bob here.

Thanks for your consideration!
